Most important rule: While this one should be obvious, NEVER wear a dirty mask! 

If you are wearing disposable masks, make sure you dispose of it as often as possible. Do not wear them over and over again, regardless of if you feel like it isn’t dirty. 
The fact is, masks – especially in humid climate conditions like in Dubai – tend to trap bacteria onto your skin. If you are using a reusable mask, then make sure you wash it in warm water and soap as soon as you get home before using it again. 

Opt for a more breathable material reusable mask for day to day wear. However, when doing so, please think about WHERE you will be wearing these masks? How safe are they? Some cloth masks are acceptable to wear when going for walk-in open areas or when driving alone in a car. But, it doesn’t mean that they are best for protection against this nasty covid-19 virus!

Alternatively, try out natural remedies like aloe-vera, sugar scrubs, and turmeric masks that contain antiseptic properties that can heal the skin.
